Just if you do reaname it make sure that you reflect the change in your setup.asp file. Here is what your DIR Layout should look like /Admin /Includes /Database /HomePage *Note: you can change this one if you like but be sure that the change is is reflected in the setup.asp file too! /Images 4) Some Other IMPORTANT stuff: - Can I add / change the names of communites? To add a community edit the table in the database that is called tbl_communities - What are groups? Why do I care? Groups are a way for you the admin to control what your users do and how much space they have to do what they do. The default group that comes with FingerTips is "general" You can create your own groups setting the permissions you want with those groups. Then once a user signs up and if he/she want to be apart of another group other then the default group he/she will send you a request from his/her account. - Can I added a header or a footer to everyones page? Normally you but a slash at the end of something or misspelled it. Either way you should check out to make sure all the paths are right in the setup.asp file Error 2 - FingerTips will not find database Fix 2 - Make sure that the database is in the Database DIR above the FingerTip files. Also make sure that the path string in the setup.asp file is correct Error 3 - You get an error that says operation completed what is this? Fix 3 - This means that something happened that the first operation was able to complete but the next operation failed. The cause of this is due to you not setting the right permissions on your DIR. Make sure that ALL DIRs have RWX permissions on them. And as always make sure that everything is setup right in the setup.asp file.
