ASP Image Counter Notes You should see three directories. The complied directory contains the ImgCounter.dll which must be registered on your web server's system. The ImgCounter.dll was written with Visual Basic 6 and the full source can be found in the vb directory. The html directory contains the files which should be placed on your web server. This directory must be readable and have permission to run scripts. Also, all files with the .cnt file extension must have their permissions set to read and write. Once the library is registered and the files from html directory are in place with propper permissions set, open the default.htm file. Of course gif, jpeg, or png file formats would be ideal, but for this example the library is only able to read and return bitmaps. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me.
